The possibility I find exciting is you could turn the world's most invasive and degrading structure into the world's longest gallery of free speech and bad art..." - Banksy In 2004 the international court of justice declared the wall illegal and against international law and that all contruction should be stopped immediatley. The international court ruled -the construction and its associated regime was contrary to international law; -Israel was under obligation to cease construction and dismantle the wall; -Israel should compensate owners of land seized to construct the barrier and those harmed by the barrier; -all states are under obligation not to recognise the situation and ensure Israel's compliance with international law; -the UN should consider what further action to take. In the same year a United Nations general assembly resolution was passed demanding Israel comply with the world court and dismantle and compensate all Palestinians affected by the wall's construction. The resolution was passed with 150 to 6. Israel and the United States being among the states that voted against the resolution. Israel has yet to comply with any demands made by the UN, the world court, the intternational courst of justice or human rights watch.

Guerilla artist Banksy has created his latest piece of work on the wall of a pharmacy in Islington in north London.

Banksy | Hackney council says these subversive images are making the place look dirty and have to go - even if they were spray-painted by Banksy.

This is Banksys latest street work on the Essex Road, London N1. I filmed the spot for 1 hour on 6th March 2008. It was interesting to note the diverse cross section of the local community that were interested in his work. Unfortunately it is now covered with perspex to stop it being vandalised. See for yourself. Now covered up unfortunately.

This is a video which i made at summer in 2006. I know its really badly filmed but hay. Alot of the art has been buffered off or just painted over now. So i guess it was lucky I filmed it when i did.
